The Charter's red lines bind every proposal on this page and every position paper.

  • Democracy, dignity, rule of law. Committed without reservation. We reject every form of extremism, political violence, hatred and discrimination, from the right, the left or religious fanaticism.
  • Lawful means only. Our ends can be reached only by democratic, peaceful and lawful means, and we hold to that even when it costs us.
  • Individual rights, always. All migration and repatriation must follow national and international law, rest on individual assessment and respect human rights. No collective expulsion.
